10th Assembly: South East is best For Senate President, for Equity, Justice and Fairness.
The *Our Nation Nigeria Movement * has advised the national leadership of All Progressive Party APC to zone the office of the Senate President for the incoming 10th National Assembly to South East for Equity, Justice and Fairness.
In a statement released to newsmen in Lagos on Monday 06.03.2023 by the Secretary of “Our Nation Nigeria Movement” Mr. Tunde Thompson Maiyegun , the Group said that the Office of the Senate President should naturally be zoned to the South-East for Fairness, Equity, Justice and all Inclusiveness of all Regions of Nigeria into the Governance of this Nation.
The group noted that Building a New Nigeria and the Nigeria of our Dreams must be a Project that will have all Regions of Nigeria been represented in the Federal Character as Only the All Inclusiveness will bring down Tension and Distrust among all Nigerians.
The group added that without Zoning the Office of Senate President of the incoming 10th Assembly to South-East Region will be a Vindication to IPOB who believes that the Igbos are not wanted in the Nigeria Project hence they want Out .
Our Nation Nigeria 🇳🇬 Movement Cautioned Nigerian Politicians to Desist from acts capable of inflaming more Tension and Agitations across Nigeria by excluding the South-East from their rightful Political Posts in Nigeria.
The zone is qualified as they has produced a ranking Senator in the person of Senator Orji Uzo Kalu for the APC despite all efforts of the enemies of the region to stop election from holding in South East .
